Shawn James Houston reviews
Fabulous Concert, Amazing Stadium, needs attention to detail
"A phenomenal show was put on by Shawn James and his band! It did not disappoint, after a 30 year wait to see him in concert. Everyone on that stage must have been completely drained from giving so much of themselves, and performing like they were giving a show of a lifetime! It is a real treat to see an artist truly love doing what they are doing. Watching Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood sing and interact together was so amazing. This concert turned my S.O. into a country music fan! Our seats 3rd level, 3rd row, had a great view of the field, would be fantastic to watch a game. Allegiant Stadium is massive. We could see the stage well enough. The granola fruit bowl was insanely good. The AC is probably one of the best I have ever experienced. Only had a few complaints and more than likely it is because it was the 1st large scale event at the arena... The ushers are pushy and not listening to people when they say they are trying to cool off before walking down a very steep embankment. The bass was too high for the 1st part of the show. It might be a good idea to actually check tickets for entry. The signage is limited, so lots of people getting lost. The traffic was horrible, expecting everyone to walk a mile and a half in the ridiculous heat only to arrive at 1 hotel to hail a cab is insane, 3 hour wait inside a casino that didn't have enough staff to accommodate everyone is not very well thought out. Lastly, and perhaps the most important, when it is so hot people are experiencing heat stroke, it is better to allow people to bring in 1 bottle of water AND have cold water available to purchase as you get through security. Waiting 30-40 minutes to be able to purchase it, I ended up with heat illness and a horrible headache. Attention to the small details would make a good experience, amazing."
